Using the Story Corps app makes recording your story easy!

Here's how:

1. Download the Story Corps app on your smart phone or tablet

2. Create an account

3. Login and at the upper right corner tap the "+" icon to create a new interview

4. Select "record an interview"

5. Keep the recording device 6-8 inches from your mouth and speak clearly

6. Introduce yourself then tell your story! Try to keep your story to less that 15 minutes.

7. If you'd like, take or upload a photo of yourself or The Bob.

8. Add an interview title

9. IMPORTANT! Be sure to add the keywords "Bob Marshall Wilderness", "Stories from The Bob", and "Wilderness" to your interview.

10. Save your interview

11. Publish your interview!

If you've used the keywords we'll then be able to find the story and share it on our website!

If you already have a recording of your story, or would like to record it yourself not using the Story Corps app, make sure it is saved as an MP3 and send it to asiems@bmwf.org
