Bison Harvest Raffle for the Bob!
Enter to win this unique chance to harvest a mature bull bison from the stunning Sun Prairie reserve near Malta, Montana. With public harvests limited to roughly 25 per year, this is a rare opportunity to play an active role in maintaining the health and sustainability of this keystone species that American Prairie is working to restore to the landscape.
Tickets are $100 each, and will be limited to 300 total sold. The winner will be drawn at The BobFest on October 10th, 2025. (Need not be present to win, but it’ll be a great party!)

A 3-Month Series Exploring Wild Topics

Each year BMWF partners with the Flathead-Kootenai Chapter of Wild Montana, the Northwest Montana Lookout Association, and the Natural Resources Conservation Management Program at Flathead Valley Community College to bring you the annual Wilderness Speaker Series.
The Wilderness Speaker Series takes place the third Wednesday of the month in February, March, and April at 7 PM. The event is free and all are welcome.
Mountainfilm on Tour
A 5-City Tour Celebrating the Power of Wild Places
Coming March 2025 to Choteau, Helena, Whitefish, Missoula, and Bigfork.
Each spring we circumnavigate The Bob to bring the Mountainfilm festival to four communities in Montana. Join us for an evening of environmental, cultural, and adventure documentary-style short films, plus raffle prizes and refreshments.

Our annual gala includes live music, food, drinks, and special guests — plus an incredible silent auction filled with art, outdoor gear, adventures and getaways, gifts, and so much more! Join us to catch up with old friends, make some new ones, and raise funds to support hands-on wilderness stewardship.
