Project Description

Your hike to camp from Smith Creek will take you up and over Welcome Pass with several creek crossings so keep those river shoes handy. Camp along the Dearborn River just underneath the beautiful Scapegoat Mtn. This spectacular setting will be basecamp for the next few days. From here you will work along Cave Creek brushing trail, and working on tread improvement. Clearing will also take place when necessary, as this is an early season trip an there are sure to be some trees down. Enjoy a day off to explore the stunning Halfmoon Park, or for the more ambitious, climb Scapegoat Mtn for some impressive and vast views of The Bob.

BMWF will provide all food, tools and group gear. For a packing list and other helpful information click on the button below.
