Project Description

Birch creek is a remote and beautiful nook in the NE corner of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. This hidden gem needs a some tidying up from a few good stewards! Volunteers will hike the 5 miles into basecamp and set up along the creek. The following three days will be spent pulling and bagging knapweed before it flowers and goes to seed. Depending on the amount of weeds to combat, plan on a half, or full day off mid trip to hike around and explore the area.

BMWF will provide all food, tools and group gear. For a packing list and other helpful information click on the button below.

MEETING PLACE:

Volunteers will meet the Crew Leader at the Dupuyer Cache in Dupuyer and caravan to the trailhead.
