Project Description

Start your trip hiking along the Sun River out of the Benchmark area, and find your camp just a quick 2 miles down the trail at the junction with the Deer Creek trail. You will be working to clear the trail to an old lookout site called Deadman Hill which will offer you some beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. The trail will also need some tlc in regards to treadwork, so your days will be a nice mix of running crosscut saws, hand saws, loppers, picks and pulaskis. A well rounded trip for those who love to do all the things!
