Pyramid Pass Trailhead
miles to camp:
8.2 with approx. 1,700 feet of elevation gain
Live and work in the high alpine of the Swan Range. Volunteers will hike up and over Pyramid Pass just north of Seeley Lake. Camp will be on the east side of the pass, in an area called Leota Park, near Youngs Creek. From there you will travel towards Ross Creek where the trail is in need of a little BMWF love! Expect most of your work to involve crosscuts and hand saws, as you work to get this trail corridor clear. The hike to your worksite each day will start at about a mile and a half, but will increase as you work up the trail.
BMWF will provide all food, tools and group gear. For a packing list and other helpful information:
Pyramid Pass Trailhead. Group will camp at trailhead on Sunday night to get an early start Monday morning.
