The Legacy Raft Trip is an opportunity for lovers of The Bob and supporters of wilderness stewardship and conservation to see The Great Bear Wilderness by hiking and rafting on a trip of a lifetime

This year’s Legacy Trip explores the Middle Fork of the Flathead River.  You’ll hike along high ridges with sweeping views, through dense forests of douglas fir to the mighty Middle Fork where you will meet the raft guides from Wilderness River Outfitters.  The trip will consist of a three days of floating with stops for day hiking on trails maintained by BMWF volunteer crews.  In addition to time spent floating and relaxing in camp, there will be many opportunities for fly fishing on the legendary Middle Fork and in pristine alpine lakes, learning about the natural history of the area, and sharing stories with other wilderness lovers.

The dates of the trip are July 2 - 5, 2017.  The cost of the trip is $1,600 per person which will go to support the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation endowment to ensure the protection and care of the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex for generations to come.
