Project Description

Help keep the Wilderness wild, make an impact, and enjoy a long weekend in the Bob! Volunteers will be spraying and deadheading Oxeye daisy that has taken over a meadow near the Webb Lake Cabin. Used as an ornamental plant, when it escapes into the forest, this non-native has devastating effects on native plants and animal forage. This will be the third year that BMWF volunteers put a hurting on this Daisy patch. Volunteers will use the cabin for cooking and storage, but camp out under the stars. This trip is limited to 4 volunteers!
