Project Description

Named for in honor of a long-time guide who was instrumental in the preservation of the Scapegoat Wilderness, Hobnail Tom Trail needs some tread maintenance. You'll be using pulaskis and picks to smooth the trail and improve the footing for two and four-legged users just south of “Smokes Bridge.” Bring your fishing pole and enjoy the sights and sounds of the crystal clear Blackfoot River near basecamp.

BMWF will provide all food, tools and group gear. For a packing list and other helpful information:


MEETING PLACE: 

Volunteers will meet the Crew Leader at Trixi's Antler Saloon in Ovando and caravan to the trailhead.
