Project Description

Volunteers will be spraying and deadheading Oxeye daisy that have taken over a meadow near the Webb Lake Cabin. Used as an ornamental plant, when it escapes into the forest, this non-native has devastating effects on native plants and animal forage. 2017 will be the second year that BMWF volunteers put a hurting on this Daisy patch. Help keep the Wilderness wild and make an impact! You will have a day off midweek to enjoy the Scapegoat Wilderness.

Pack support for this project will be provided by Chris Eyer and his impressive string of mules. Chris, has brought the beauty of packing and wilderness to the masses through his instagram account. Find him @muledragger on the instagram app!
