Project Description

Join your fellow boy scouts for some good times in the Bob Marshall Wilderness! Volunteers will meet the Crew Leader Sunday morning in Hungry Horse and caravan the 2.5 drive to the trailhead.  After sorting gear and supplies for the packer and shouldering your backpack, you will hike the 3 miles into camp. Monday-Friday (with a day off in between!) volunteers will be working on trail #584 Harrison Creek.  Clearing down trees and reestablishing the trail bed (tread) will be the primary focus.  Pulaskis, shovels and hand saws will be the tools of choice. After work relax at camp or explore  nearby.  Saturday the groups will pack up and hike back out to the trailhead and civilization. BMWF will provide all food, tools and group gear.
